Please contribute to the school in a way that is meaningful for your family. Any and all donations are appreciated! The PTSA is a registered IRS 501 (c)(3) charitable organization (federal tax ID # 90-0914298), and donations are fully tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Auction
Please consider sponsoring our fundraising auction to offset costs of software, publicity, and credit card processing fees.
We offer four levels of sponsorship:
Platinum ($500+)
Gold ($250+)
Silver ($100+)
Contributor (up to $100)
Sponsors will be listed in the online auction catalog, which will link to the business website and display the business logo if one is provided or the webmaster can find a suitable image online.
Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, debit cards, Venmo, and Apple Pay are accepted. No PayPal account required.
You can also sponsor the auction via check, which saves us processing fees. Make checks payable to “James Denman PTSA” and write “Auction sponsor” in the memo. Hand your check to Ms. Liany in the office or mail your gift to: Denman PTSA Auction, 241 Oneida Ave, San Francisco, CA 94112. Please return this form with your check, or include your name or business name as you would like to be credited, your email to receive a donation receipt, and website so we can link to your business, if applicable.

Denman Pride Annual Fund
The Denman Pride Annual Fund is our direct giving campaign and the most immediate way to financially contribute to our school.
Middle school is just three short years, and your donation makes a positive effect right now for your children and the community that surrounds them. The PTSA works in partnership with Principal Ujiie to align our goals and support the mission, teachers, and programs at Denman.
Our support touches every aspect of school life with notably strong support of Denman’s academic programming through our Teacher Grants Fund, and our focus on STEAM and English Language Arts. PTSA has supported expanding classroom book options, comic book subscriptions for the Library, STEAM-based project materials and giveaway prizes for STEAM Night, student clubs, clean up days, and supplies for teachers and students.

Help us exceed this year's budget goal of $22,400 and meet our stretch goal of $30,000 to strengthen the PTSA for next year. Denman Middle School has a diverse student body whose families reflect a wide range of economic circumstances. For this fundraising campaign, we are asking all families to give what they can toward the recommended donation of $400 per student ($2.22 per school day — half the cost of a cup of coffee). As always, choose a donation amount that fits your family’s finances and know that every dollar makes a difference.

The advisory class in each grade with the highest percentage participation will win a prize! Current families, look for the flyer coming home (shown below), and return the form at the bottom to help your child's class win. Return the form by December 13, 2024 to get credit even if you donated online or can't donate at this time. Didn't receive your flyer? In-kind food donations
If you have connections to restaurants who will donate, or you are willing to donate a food purchase instead of cash, we would be happy to give you a receipt for your tax-deductible donation. This approach allows us to feed our staff and students more often while keeping our hospitality expenses down.

Corporate matching
Your Denman Pride Fund donation can go twice as far! Many employers match your donation to the PTSA. Contact your Human Resources administrator for details on how your company can join you in supporting James Denman Middle School.
